What is StockTipRatings?

StockTipRatings helps you cut through the noise by showing you who's worth listening to when it comes to investment insights. Using advanced data analytics and AI-driven models, we evaluate the track record and reliability of market voices from analysts. Our platform lets you review proven performance over time so you can make smarter, more informed investment decisions.

How is StockTipRatings Expert Ratings calculated?

Our rating system incorporates all ratings made since 2023. Our ratings are based on a combination of three factors: the number of reports, success rate, and average return for each financial expert. However, the analyst's ability to generate positive returns is the primary factor, with success rate being secondary and the volume of reports considered tertiary.

How are analysts' ratings measured?

An analyst's success rate and average return per stock is calculated by measuring only the Buy ratings on that stock. Sell and Hold ratings are not scored.

By default, a Buy rating is evaluated over a 12-month period, unless the analyst downgrades the stock to Sell within that timeframe, in which case the Buy position is closed on the downgrade date.

If coverage is ceased, all related calls from the broker will be closed. If a transfer of coverage is stated in the report, the previous analyst's call will be considered ceased.

How can I find new investment ideas?

1. Visit the Screener page to see which stocks are highly recommended.
2. Visit the Experts page to see on which analysts are high performing.

How do we collect the ratings and how quickly are they posted on the website?

StockTipRatings picks up all ratings made on stocks on Malaysia markets that are publicly published online. By using Natural Language Processing, we monitor reputable websites to find new ratings. While the majority of ratings appear on StockTipRatings as soon as the rating is picked up, a handful of ratings are delayed for manual review with our data validation team to endure the ratings' accuracy.

How can I personalize StockTipRatings according to my investment strategy?

While StockTipRatings does not tell you where to invest, StockTipRatings provides you with the tools that allow you to invest with greater confidence when evaluating expert recommendations.

Stay up to date on your investment by subscribing to email alerts. Add different stocks or analysts to favorites to receive instantaneous emails on new ratings.

How are dividends incorporated into ratings and share prices?

The ratings are calculated using adjusted prices from Yahoo Finance, which are updated to reflect dividend issuances.

Is there a mobile app?

No, we don't currently have a mobile app. A dedicated app is planned for the future. In the meantime, our platform is mobile-friendly and fully supported by our team.

I can't access my account! What do I do?

Please make sure you know your username. It is the email you either signed up or paid with. Please make sure you know your password. If you're not sure please reset your password.

I have Forgotten my Password

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All purchases are non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term.
